Pajama Jeans

Yup, they’re exactly what you think they are. Pajama Jeans Amazing.

Where the Wild Things Are

I had this crazy dream the other night where Mike and I, along with a few other folks who didn’t show up quite clearly, rented very large, very fuzzy Where the Wild Things Are costumes and wore them around. Mine, unfortunately was a wee bit small so I had to go exchange it for another one. They were out of the traditional brown costumes though so I got a purple one instead. I was a giant purple fuzzy monster. I should rent Where the Wild Thing Are.

A Game of Thrones

I don’t remember exactly how I came across George RR Martins “A Song of Ice and Fire” series but it is truly fantastic. I’ve always been in to the sci-fi/fantasy genre, both of my parents read a lot of those types of books, but aside from Harry Potter and the YA series Percy Jackson and the Olympians, haven’t read much of the genre in a few years. A Game of Thrones, the first of a planned 7-book series by Martin, totally hooked me. And now they’re planning to make a TV series! HBO has completed the pilot and are expected to make a decision about the rest of the series by March 2010. If the show is picked up, filming will continue in mid-2010 with the series most likely set to air beginning early 2011. The cast for the pilot can be seen here: A Game of Thrones Cast . I think they all really fit the parts and I’m really looking forward to this show being on the air!! More info on the possibility of HBO picking up the show here: A Song of Ice and Fire Forum Yup, that’s right, I was on a Song of Ice and Fire forum. So dorky!

Moving + selling stuff = buying shoes and a jacket!

I’ve been eyeing this blushed tweed collier jacket for months and months, waiting for it to go on sale. No dice. Erg. Might have to just buy it. Super cute, versatile, fun.

Woolbuddy!

One of the best Christmas gifts ever! (Thank you, Mike). This little friend was made by Jackie Huang, a designer who works for Pixar. Some more wonkiness on his website: Woolbuddy

Porthole Tub

I really like the look of this tub! The portholes make it fun and kids would dig pretending they were at sea which is definitely something I did when I was little. The color is great too.
